About This Directory

What is this?

The AI for Public Policy Directory is a community-curated catalog of tools, dashboards, visualisations, and projects that use AI/ML to support public policy research, analysis, and governance.

Whether you’re a researcher, think tank professional, civic tech developer, or policy student — this directory helps you discover what’s already been built so you can learn from it, use it, or build on it.

Why does this exist?

Many people are building AI tools for public policy — from parliamentary trackers to budget visualisers to regulation dashboards. But there’s no single place to find all of them. This directory aims to fill that gap.

How to contribute

We welcome contributions! If you’ve built or know of an AI tool for public policy, you can add it to this directory by submitting a pull request on GitHub.

See our Contributing Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Who maintains this?

This directory is maintained by the public policy community. It was started by Takshashila Institution.
